Working to offer international opportunities to the Higher Education Institutions in Nepal and India

PROJECT GOAL AND VALUES

InterNepInd consortium works together to support the internationalization process of Higher Education Institutions in India and Nepal promoting a comprehensive process based on strategy design, capacity building, development of structures and networking.

As a result, international opportunities will be created for different stakeholders: from students to teachers, researchers, managers and administrative staff.

The project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, KA2 2019 Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education and will last until November 2021.

MOBILITY, PROJECTS AND INSTITUTIONAL JOINT INITIATIVES

MOBILITY

We foster HEIs students, researchers, teachers, administrative staff and managers mobility with:

  • Short-term mobility at regional level
  • Long-term mobility at international level
  • Virtual mobility through online learning
  • Fostering engagement with international students

PARTNERS EVENTS

  • Presentation of "Study about best practices in internationalization of HE in Nepal and India" in Surat, India.
  • International Staff Training Week at UPCT, in Murcia, Spain.
  • European Association for International Education (EAIE) annual conference and exhibition, in Barcelona, Spain.
  • We will add more along the project.

PROJECTS

We will promote cooperation on international research projects and institutional projects between HEI partners and our international network.

INSTITUTIONAL JOINT INITIATIVES 

Other institutional joint initiatives will be promoted as the following: 

* Internationalization at Home meaning: integration of international and intercultural dimensions into the formal and informal curriculum for all students. More about the Internationalisation at Home approach.
